Its nearest neighbours are the villages of Arrieta, Guatiza and Charco del Palo (a naturist resort), about 3 km away. Arrecife is approximately 23 km with a drive time of around 30 minutes. Mala is not a purpose built tourist resort, but more of a traditional Canarian town.
